County All-MBC players are Harris, Peterson
Prescott’s Tim Harris made jump from receiving “honorable mention” to the list of the top boys’ basketball players in the Middle Border Conference. After receiving honorable mention in 2008, Harris is a member of the all-conference team in 2009.

After receiving honorable mention in 2008, Harris is a member of the all-conference team in 2009.
Joining him from Pierce County is Ellsworth’s Caleb Peterson.
Harris played a key role in helping his Cardinal team avoid last place and win the school’s first regional title in boys’ basketball since 1994.
Both Harris and Peterson are seniors on what is a senior dominated all-conference squad. The only underclassmen on the team are junior Tyler Pauley of Osceola and sophomore Jake Keefer of Baldwin-Woodville. On the team from conference co-champions New Richmond and Osceola were Lance Bauer and Derek Sabby of NR and Brian Bartley, Pauley and Tyler Olson of Osceola.
Sabby was also name the MBC’s Player of the Year and New Richmond and Osceola coaches Rick Montreal and John Walsh were both named Coach of the Year.
Also on the team is Brock Luehman of Amery, Nathan Prissel of Durand and David Moulton and Bryan Witzmann of Somerset.
Luehman and Moulton both were on the all-conference team last season. In fact, Moulton is a three-time all-conference team member.
Pierce County players that received honorable mention were Ellsworth seniors Drew Hipple and Nick Niedfeldt.
