Former county man pleads guilty to child pornography

A former county man pled guilty Wednesday in Pierce County Circuit Court to one count of child pornography.

Allen C. Clausen, 46, now of St. Paul, formerly of River Falls, will be sentenced at 1 p.m. Monday, June 1.

The charges stem from an incident last November, according to the criminal complaint. Clausen arrived home from work, and was met by River Falls police and agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI).

They informed him he wasn’t under arrest; they just wanted to talk to him about a couple of matters. Clausen agreed and the interview was moved to the River Falls Police Department.
