Flynn's three-run homer gives Plum City 11-9 win over Mondovi

Ryan Flynn's bat was a dangerous weapon for the Plum City High School baseball team. The Blue Devil junior hit two home runs and drove in six RBIs to rally PC to an 11-9 win over Mondovi at Legion Park Thursday.

PLUM CITY - Ryan Flynn's bat was a dangerous weapon for the Plum City High School baseball team.

The Blue Devil senior hits two home runs and drove in six RBIs to rally PC to an 11-9 win over Mondovi at Legion Park Thursday.

Flynn hit a solo home run in the fifth inning and a three-run shot in the sixth that put PC in front for good. He was 3-for-4 at the plate.

Flynn's Plum City's teammates, Logan Radle and Dana Derricks also had two hits. Derricks drove in two runs with a single.

Freshman Chase Luebker was the winning picther. He came on in relief in the fifth inning.

The win keeps the Blue Devils atop the Dunn-St. Croix Conference Small Division standings with a 4-1 record. PC is 5-3 overall.
