A River Falls man received probation Thursday in Pierce County Circuit Court for battery and multiple abuse charges.
Anthony P. Seifert, 45, 1457 Wildcat Ct., No. 107, received two years probation for battery and three years probation for intimidate victim, child abuse, and strangulation and suffocation. All the probation terms run concurrent. He pled guilty to all four charges.
“I feel horrible for what I’ve done,” he said. He also offered apologies to both victims.
According to the criminal complaint, River Falls police responded April 13 to a “physical domestic” disturbance at Seifert’s home, where he allegedly attacked two female victims.
The adult victim said Seifert had been laid off his job the previous Friday. Since then, he’d seemed angry and had been drinking a lot.
