Timm opens own dance studio in Prescott

PRESCOTT--Tristina Timm’s life has revolved around dancing.
She started performing at age two and continued through high school (Prescott), college (University of Minnesota) and professionally (Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Vikings).
When the Vikings’ 2008 season ended, one thought ran through her mind.
“My body said enough,” she said.
Therefore, Timm was ready to do something different, sort of.
“I didn’t want to go into the corporate world and dancing was still a passion of mine,” she explained. “My husband (Ryan) and I discussed it and he said, ‘Why don’t you just open your own studio?’”
One thing led to another and, on Monday, July 6, Timm will open the doors to Stella Dance and Pilates Studio, located at 720 St. Croix St., Suite 4, in Prescott.
