Hubbers win two in league play

Using strong pitching an defense the Ellsworth Hubbers won twice over the weekend in St. Croix Valley League play.
Ellsworth beat Elmwood at home Friday 2-1 and they downed Plum City 3-2 at Plum City Saturday.
Hubbers' pitcher Mitch Johnson got the save on Friday and pitched all nine innings for the win on Saturday.
Ellsworth's J.P. Paulson hit a sacrifice RBI against Plum City and belted a solo home run vs. Elmwood.
The Hubs' are now above .500 in SCVL play.
