New pastor to be installed Sunday

Pastor Amy Fondroy Eich will be installed as the new pastor at Joy Lutheran Church in Prescott this Sunday at both services of worship that day—one at 8:15 a.m. and the other at 10 a.m.

PRESCOTT — Pastor Amy Fondroy Eich will be installed as the new pastor at Joy Lutheran Church in Prescott this Sunday at both services of worship that day—one at 8:15 a.m. and the other at 10 a.m.

These will be celebratory worship services with many of the musical groups at the church participating in the services: Festival Choir, Joyful Handbells, Brass Choir and Praise Band.

Fondroy Eich will be installed by Pastor Amy Odgren, Assistant to the Bishop of the Northwest Wisconsin Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Odgren will deliver the morning sermon, while Fondroy Eich will deliver the Children’s Sermon.

All members and friends of the church are invited to attend. A luncheon will be served at 11:15 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the church following the installation services.

Fondroy Eich will be moving to Prescott from Jefferson, Ia., where she’s been the pastor of Christ Lutheran Church since 2005. She is a graduate of Waldorf College in Forest City, Ia., with an Associate of Arts Degree, of Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, with a BS Degree in Art Therapy and of Luther Seminary in St. Paul with a Master of Divinity Degree. She will be moving to Prescott with her husband, Pat, and their two sons, Alexander and Deitrich.
