Prescott teenagers charged with burglary
Three Prescott teenagers were charged in Pierce County Circuit Court last week with burglary.
The Prescott Police Department announces the arrest of three Prescott men for burglary Wednesday, according to Chief of Police Mike R. Bondarenko.
Joseph R. Franek, 18, 1235 Ash St., Tyler C. Gilbertson, 20, 740 Shane Park Cir., and Kenneth W. Russell, 19, 673 Helen St., were arrested by Prescott police officers and Pierce County sheriff’s deputies at approximately 4 a.m.
A resident on Delta Queen Street called 911 to report a possible burglary in progress at his residence. A subsequent investigation showed the complaint’s residence had been entered. Officers located the three individuals in the area and allegedly connected them to the burglary. The three were each charged in Pierce County Circuit Court last week with burglary. The next court appearance for all three is a 1:45 p.m. preliminary hearing Friday.
Several thefts from motor vehicles and an additional residential burglary were reported Wednesday to Friday of last week, and the police department is following up on these cases to determine whether there are connections to the three suspects. Additional charges are possible.
Charges against a fourth Prescott man allegedly involved in these cases are pending. Bondarenko obtained a search warrant executed on the man’s vehicle and evidence connecting him to these cases was recovered.
