Going down
Demolition crews were out again in the east end of Ellsworth as they started demolishing the old Deiss and Nugent feed mill, located behind the East Ellsworth Mercantile. According to Mercantile manager Dana Lansing, the mill, which was built in the late 1960’s, was presently empty and the decision was made to go in a “new beginning” for that spot. The elevator will be demolished at a later time. Back in February, the old grain elevator behind the feed mill came down.
