A 24-year-old man was killed in a weekend logging accident in west central Wisconsin.
Authorities said the man was cutting trees for firewood near Oakdale in Monroe County, when a tree fell and landed on him.
He tried to run out of the way, but was pinned. The victim was unconscious when First Responders arrived. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Officials said he was working with other family members when the incident happened on Saturday. His name was not immediately released.
