A River Falls teenager was charged last week in Pierce County Circuit Court with alleged felony police battery, and misdemeanors of resisting an officer, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.

The next court appearance for Keegan D. Enloe, 17, is an 11:30 a.m. preliminary hearing next Tuesday.

According to the criminal complaint, River Falls police were dispatched to the power plant at 401 S. Winter St. at 2:54 a.m. Aug. 24 for an individual, later identified as Enloe, banging on the door and being disorderly.

After a few minutes, Officer Matt Peterson from the UW-River Falls Police Department stated over the radio an individual was hanging off the bridge on S. Winter Street and assistance was needed.

RF Officer Matt Kennett’s report stated that, upon his arrival, he noticed a male between the age of 16 and 18, and the individual appeared to be intoxicated. Kennett stated that, as Peterson tried to speak to the individual to gain information, he responded with profanities.
