Drug ring broken up, three arrested in Buffalo County
Investigators believe they have broken up a drug ring with the arrest of three Minnesota men in Buffalo County.

TREMPEALEAU - Investigators believe they have broken up a drug ring with the arrest of three Minnesota men in Buffalo County.
Sheriff Mike Schmidtknecht says his department received a call about suspicious activity August 21 at the Mertes Slough Boat Landing parking lot in the town of Buffalo.
Drug Enforcement Agents with the Buffalo County Sheriff's Department arrested 21-year-old Hussein Hassan of Rochester for possession of more than 16 grams of cocaine.
On August 24 Schmidtknecht says investigators made a controlled buy of 6 grams of cocaine from 25-year-old Mohammed Osman and 23-year-old Shueb Abdulle, both of Rochester. Both men were arrested for delivery of cocaine.
Schmidtknecht says the three men are suspected of being involved in a drug trafficing ring in southeastern Minnesota, with sales in counties in western Wisconsin.
