PLUM CITY — Pepin-Alma gave it everything they had but Plum City's LSC and and regular season win streaks stayed in tact Friday after 14-8 win at Plum City.

PC has won 41 straight regular season games and 31 straight Lakeland South Conference contests

The Eagles held Plum City to 219 yards on the ground — 158 below its average. But PC's defense held P-A to 163 total yards. They also made a goaline stand early in the fourth quarter.

At the conclusion of a drive that spanned the third and fourth quarters, P-A had first-and-10 on Plum City’s 11-yard line. The Eagles were down by six points and failed to score. On the fourth down, Wayne brought down junior quarterback Danny Kujak and forced an incomplete pass.

Tim Wayne put the Blue Devils back in front after trailing 8-6 in the first halft. With 1:41 to play before halftime, Wayne scored on a three-yard run. Senior quarterback Shawn Ingli found junior Ryan Gillman in the end zone to convert the two-point play. The game-winning touchdown was set-up by a 35-yard shovel pass from Ingli to Luebker on fourth down.
