PRESCOTT--The Happ-E-Hill pumpkin farm returns for its second year to Nesbitt’s Nursery, starting this Saturday through Nov. 1.
“We felt pretty good about the first year,” said Leon Nesbitt. “We wanted to offer a nice, healthy atmosphere and we received a lot of favorable reviews last year.”
At the same time, Nesbitt also praised former owners Bill and Judy Emery for their help.
“They did a wonderful job of building the business,” he said.
Leon said new features this year children will be able to enjoy are a 30-foot-long wooden train in which they can be the conductor, passenger or engineer, along with an expanded bale maze.
“We’re building for the future,” he said. “We believe if you build it, they will come.”
