Seasons conclude for Ellsworth girls' golf and tennis teams at sectional

The Ellsworth High School girls' golf and tennis teams had their seasons come to an end in sectional meets Wednesday.
The Panthers' girls' golf team finished eighth in the WIAA Division 2 Amery Sectional with a score of 436. Baldwin-Woodville won the meet with a score of 385. EHS' best score came from golfer Courtney Stoesz with a 104.
Ellsworth's girls tennis team did not score a point at the WIAA Division 2 Durand Sectional. All four of their singles players lost their matches after scoring 16 point in the subsectional Monday.
