Co-op directors earn certification
Glenn Peterson and Richard Ruemmele, directors of Pierce Pepin Cooperative Services, were recently recognized by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association for completing advanced, issues-oriented courses concerning the electric industry.
Glenn Peterson and Richard Ruemmele, directors of Pierce Pepin Cooperative Services, were recently recognized by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association for completing advanced, issues-oriented courses concerning the electric industry.
Board Leadership certificates were presented to Peterson and Ruemmele by PPCS Chairman Ron Johnson at the co-op’s board meeting Oct. 1.
The NRECA Board Leadership certificate recognizes individuals who continue their professional development after completing the Credentialed Cooperative Director program. Peterson received his CCD certificate in September 2002; Ruemmele in September 2005.
Peterson was elected to the PPCS Board of Directors in March 2001 to represent District 1. Ruemmele, elected March 2003, represents District 9. Both are currently serving their third terms.
