STOCKHOLM – Attention area artists of all kinds: If you’re looking to showcase your talents, Stockholm has a place for you.
The WideSpot Performing Arts Center and Community Project will host its first performance 7:30 p.m. this Saturday with what organizers call “a cabaret-style evening of delectable entertainment.”
“It’s about discovering new acts whether they’re eclectic or traditional and giving them their place to perform,” said Kelli Tatum, executive director of WideSpot.
The opening night consists of a dance troupe, a presentation of two short films and a musical duo that uses an accordion and saws for instruments.
