Lifelong Hastings resident opens real estate busines in Prescott

PRESCOTT--Wendy McIntyre had worked in the real estate field for over 20 years and was seeking a change.
“I had my own vision of doing things,” she said. “I wanted to have my own policy.”
Therefore, the lifelong Hastings, Minn., resident went and got her Wisconsin real estate license. And with that, she decided to open up her own company, Wissota Real Estate, that started Oct. 1 in Prescott. Wissota is located at 905 Dexter St. N.
The mother of two comes to Prescott after a 21-year real estate career in Hastings with specialties in listings and selling properties, foreclosures, short sales and closings.
“Being close to both states, there is business to be had,” she said, as Wissota will specialize in Prescott, River Falls, Ellsworth and Hudson, along with communities in the Southern Twin Cities metro. “You can’t help but do both.”
