Tree lighting, concert set for Nov. 29
The Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its sixth Tree of Spirit lighting ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 29, at East End Park at 5:30 p.m.
The Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its sixth Tree of Spirit lighting ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 29, at East End Park at 5:30 p.m.
The tree will be lit to remember those missed and honor those loved. Donations are accepted at the chamber office. Proceeds go to the Gift Box Program. Coffee, cider and treats will be served.
The Ellsworth Lions Club will hold a free concert, “A Christmas Concert for Caring Hearts,” at Ellsworth High School from 3-5 p.m., before the Tree of Spirit lighting. The concert will be performed by the Pierce County Ecumenical Choir and area church choirs. Donations will be accepted for the Pierce County Food Pantry and cash donations will be given to the Gift Box Program.
Crossroad Community Church in Ellsworth is hosting the Gift Box Program. Call 715-273-3678 to sponsor a family or to register for the program.
