Spring Valley's Deutsch makes All-DSC first team

Spring Valley’s Aarynn Deutsch made the All Dunn-St. Croix Conference first team volleyball for the second straight season.
Deutsch led the D-SC in kills with 345 and blocks with 75. She was also sixth in the conference in digs with 200.
Deutsch is one of two repeat players on the first team. The other is St. Croix Central senior Sarah Hawkins. Her junior teammate, Nikki Brooks, also made the first team and is one of juts two underclassmen on the first team, the other being Colfax junior Jenni Gust.
D-SC champion Colfax had two players on the first team. Along with Gust is her senior teammate Laura Mau. In helping the Vikings win their first league title in 12 years, Mau led the league in assists with 506 and aces with 51. She also had 198 digs and 123 kills, establishing herself as one of the best all-around players in the league.
Other first team members include Boyceville senior Kelsie Klaustermeier and Elk Mound seniors Emily Harrison and Jacci Myers.
Harrison and Mau were both on the second team last season while Klaustermeier received honorable mention.
Three Pierce County spikers made to the second team All D-SC. They were Elmwood senior Becky Wolf, Spring Valley senior Billie Nelson and Plum City junior Jordyn Mark. Nelson led the conference in digs with 362.
A trio of county players also received honorable mention, Elmwood senior Renee Lehmann, Spring Valley senior Kali Howe and Plum City freshman Marah Boyer. Howe was third in the league in assists.
