Open house for Hovel and bank manager Friday
PRESCOTT — Jim Hovel of Prescott has been appointed to the First National Bank of River Falls Board of Directors, according to President and CEO Jeff Johnson.
PRESCOTT — Jim Hovel of Prescott has been appointed to the First National Bank of River Falls Board of Directors, according to President and CEO Jeff Johnson.
“Jim brings an extensive background of bank management experience to the bank’s board of directors,” said Johnson. “I am delighted that Jim has agreed to serve as a member of the board. He continues to hold strong ties to the Prescott community through his involvement in numerous civic and charitable activities. We certainly look forward to being the beneficiary of Jim’s insights as a board member.”
Hovel has worked in the banking industry for more than 52 years. Since 1967, he has worked and lived in the Prescott community. From 1995 to 2005, he managed the bank’s office in Prescott.
Hovel is still active in the community and serves on the Prescott Economic and Development Committee. He and his wife reside in Prescott. They have six children, 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
An open house for Hovel and new Prescott Office Manager David Schmidt is planned at the office this Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
