Weighty pumpkin

Elmwood Elementary School students took on the challenge of guessing the weight of a large pumpkin this fall. The pumpkin was grown in the garden of the school’s superintendent, Adam Zenner.

Elmwood Elementary School students took on the challenge of guessing the weight of a large pumpkin this fall. The pumpkin was grown in the garden of the school’s superintendent, Adam Zenner.

This was the first year Mr. Zenner grew the large pumpkins and he wanted to share with the elementary students

. All students from each elementary class had the opportunity to guess the weight of the pumpkin. The student from each class that was closest to the actual weight (97.1 lbs.) was awarded lunch with Mr. Zenner.
