Childress good to go through 2013
Minnesota Sports - Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress has agreed to a contract extension which keeps him in Minnesota through the 2013,
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress has agreed to a contract extension which keeps him in Minnesota through the 2013, with the price tag reportedly worth up to five-million dollars a year.
Childress was hired to replace Mike Tice in 2006 and that contract was set to expire after next season.
Chldress say didn't want his contract extension to become a distraction. The Vikings are 8-1 and face the Seahawks this Sunday at the Metrodome.
