Carol Peterson is familiar with dealing with grief.
She spent nine years as pastor for Bethlehem and Eidsvold Lutheran churches in Pierce County, where grief was a topic she dealt with frequently.
Now, she’s carrying that knowledge into another subject as her first novel, “Eddie’s Wake,” was recently published. She will hold a book signing from 6:30-8 p.m. next Tuesday at the Ellsworth Public Library.
“Things happen to all of us, but one thing for sure is that you’re not alone,” Peterson said, addressing the book’s message. “God is always with us.”
Background
During her time as pastor, Peterson wrote numerous short stories in trying to get her message across to her congregation.
One of those short stories dealt with an elderly gentleman named Karl, who as a father dealt with the loss of his daughter.
