Lookin Good now going to be paying it forward

Annie Rother is a supporter of the pay it forward concept.

PRESCOTT--Annie Rother is a supporter of the pay it forward concept.

“It’s a good way to approach life by helping each other out,” she said.

Rother, the owner of Lookin Good in Prescott, has brought that concept to her store. In October, the hair portion she had since its inception was downsized and Rother replaced it with paying it forward.

She said that, since the switch, a list of volunteers has been working at the store doing assorted duties and in return receive in-store credit for the store’s items.

“It is a win-win situation for all,” she said. “They are wishing to earn credit to purchase winter clothing for their kids and it is always fun to be the first to see what treasures come in.

“It’s amazing what people can get rid of.”
