OES held sale, lunch Dec. 3
The Ellsworth Chapter #116 of the Order of the Eastern Star held a very successful Holiday Rummage Sale and soup/sandwich lunch at the Hancock Lodge #229 Masonic Center on Dec. 3.
The Ellsworth Chapter #116 of the Order of the Eastern Star held a very successful Holiday Rummage Sale and soup/sandwich lunch at the Hancock Lodge #229 Masonic Center on Dec. 3.
The event was held as one of several fund raisers put on each year by the group. The brothers and sisters also sold tickets to a special raffle coming up next spring.
Proceeds from the sale will go to the many local charities funded by the active Star Chapter and Masonic Lodge. Several of the Star members who worked on the event took time out for a photo.
