MADISON - The Wisconsin women gave coach Lisa Stone her 100th victory with the Badgers yesterday, as they crushed Southern Illinois-Edwardsville 68-to-38.

The Badger defense held the Cougars to 27-and-a-half percent from the floor. Wisconsin used a 15-0 to take a 21-to-4 lead and rolled from there.

The Badgers scored a season-high 46 points in the first half, when they led by 28. Alyssa Karel led Wisconsin with 10 points. Tara Steinbauer had her third double-double of the season with 10 points and a game-high 10 rebounds.

Danielle Bennett scored 15 for Edwardsville, which dropped to 2-and-9. The Badgers are now 9-and-2, and will host Robert Morris tomorrow night.
