Shooting victim identified

A Red Wing man has been identified as the victim in the shooting incident outside The Harbor Bar last week.

RED WING - The Pierce County Sheriff's Department has formally identified the victim in last Friday's morning shooting outside The Harbor Bar in Hager City.

Jesse J. Blood, 24, Red Wing, remains hospitalized at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn., according to Lt. Dennis Sorenson in a press release. Sorenson said his condition isn't known and that the Sheriff's Department has been unable to interview him.

Sorenson further mentioned that no arrests have been made so far and that investigators are still working to identify possible witnesses and persons of interest, locating them and interviewing them as well as examining evidence.

It is believed that in access of 75 people were at The Harbor Bar at the time of shooting and Sorenson said Wednesday morning that more than 20 have been interviewed at this point.
