SUN PARAIRIE - A tax preparer from Sun Prairie is accused of defrauding a bank out of more than three million dollars.
Gail Mendez was arrested in Laredo, Texas, last week. She had been indicted last September.
She's accused of engaging in mortgage fraud in 2006 and 2007. Prosecutors say she submitted false income tax returns to a Madison bank while she was applying for 19 loans
