Golden Gopher football hetman Brewster to get contract extension
Minnesota athletic director Joel Maturi says he'll offer a contract extension to Gophers football coach Tim Brewster.Maturi wouldn't say how long the extension will be or discuss Terms.

MINNEAPOLIS - Minnesota athletic director Joel Maturi says he'll offer a contract extension to Gophers football coach Tim Brewster.Maturi wouldn't say how long the extension will be or discuss terms.
He says he and Brewster have already been talking,But that university attorneys need to work out the details with Brewster's agent.Brewster is in the third season of a five-year contract, which Is worth about $1 million a year.
Minnesota is 14-23 overall and 6-18 in the Big Ten under Brewster. Minnesota plays Iowa State on Thursday in the Insight bowl in Tempe, Ariz.
