Vikings send seven to pro bowl

- Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre is headed to his record 11th Pro Bowl. The rosters for the 2010 NFL all-star game were announced Tuesday and the Vikings had the most players selected with eight.

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre is headed to his record 11th Pro Bowl. The rosters for the 2010 NFL all-star game were announced Tuesday and the Vikings had the most players selected with eight.

Joining Favre is Jared Allen, Kevin Williams, Adrian Peterson, Sidney Rice, Bryant McKinnie, Steve Hutchinson and Heath Farwell. All are starters for the NFC squad except Favre, Rice and Farwell.

For the first time since 1980, the Pro Bowl will be played somewhere other than Honolulu. The annual contest will take place Sunday, January 31st, 2010, at Land Shark Stadium in Miami.
