Wisconsin Sports- The Milwaukee Brewers have signed Baltimore Orioles’ pitcher Chris Waters to a minor league contract.
MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Brewers have signed Baltimore Orioles’ pitcher Chris Waters to a minor league contract.
The 29-year-old Waters spent most of last season at Triple-“A” Norfolk, where he was 9-and-7 in 20 starts with an ERA of just under four-and-a-half. He also made one start and four relief appearances with the Orioles in 2009. He was 1-and-0 with a 5.04 ERA.
Waters has been in 16 games over two seasons with the Orioles. He also went 3-1 in the Mexican Winter League during the current off-season.
