Just over a month ago, Courtney Dressel began as branch manager at Associated Bank’s Ellsworth office.

Before Courtney Dressel even graduated from college, her career path was set.
Dressel has worked at TCF Bank in Hastings, Minn., for the last seven years, four of those as branch manager, she said Thursday. Just over a month ago, the 2008 marketing and communications graduate began the same position at Associated Bank’s Ellsworth office.
“It’s a little more full-scale over here,” she said, explaining while various TCF branches “farm out” some of their services, Associated’s personnel do more “in house.”
