Andrew Brunette and Owen Nolan scored a goal apiece and Wild goalie Niklas Backstrom made 24 saves for Minnesota.
The Wild plays host to New Jersey on Saturday at 7 p.m, the return of former Wild head coach Jacque Lemaire to the Excel Energy Center.
