Bucks pounds Nets 98-76 to win second straight

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - The Milwaukee Bucks have won two straight for the first time since December 12th, after pounding the Nets in New Jersey 98-to-76 last night.
The Bucks led by 11 at the break. Andrew Bogut scored eight straight points early in the third quarter to put Milwaukee up by 17, and they rolled from there. Bogut scored just seven points in the first half, but he led the Bucks with 18 for the game.
The Milwaukee bench came up big. Carlos Delfino had 17 points and Hakim Warrick 13. Back-up center Kurt Thomas had nine rebounds. The Bucks out-shot New Jersey 45-to-37 percent. Michael Redd had nine points, and moved into fourth place on Milwaukee’s all-time scoring list with 11-thousand-486 career points.
Former Buck Yi Jianlian led the Nets with 22. Ex-Wisconsin guard Devin Harris had five points and seven assists, and he committed five turnovers. Former Buck Bobby Simmons had two points. New Jersey fell to 4-and-30. The Bucks are 14-and-18, and will host Chicago on Friday night.
