CHICAGO - Chicago Blackhawks took over the NHL points lead after a 4-1 win over Minnesota Wild saw them claim their fourth straight victory in the Western Conference while the Wild took its fourth straight loss.
The Blackhawks now have 63 points, two more than Eastern Conference-leading New Jersey and San Jose.
Marian Hossa scored twice for the second straight game, while Patrick Kane extended his scoring streak to nine games with a power-play goal after Minnesota's Guillaume Latendresse had opened the scoring before John Madden started the hosts' reply.
Cristobal Huet made 19 saves.
