What once were skills Carolyn Hoikka-Gaslin provided mainly to members of her family are now available to the public through Gaslin Accounting, LLC.

The area native has opened her own accounting office in the back of the Compass Financial Services building in Ellsworth’s west business district. Although it’s her first independent enterprise, she has extensive experience in the field.

Hoikka, farmed and operated the former Hoikka Implement on Ellsworth’s east side.
