MADISON - Jordan Taylor has been providing some welcome offense in recent games. His 23 points Saturday helped the Wisconsin Badgers beat Purdue 73-66.

It was the first loss of the season for the 14-1 Boilermakers. Jason Bohannon scored a career-high 20 in Wisconsin's victory. The Badgers are 13-3 overall, 3-1 in the Big Ten. That's the second time this season coach Bo Ryan's team has knocked off a top-10 opponent.

Purdue got 24 points from E'Twaun Moore, but the visitors had a hard time finding the range. They hit just 3-of-10 long range shots and were only 13-of-24 from the charity stripe.

Wisconsin led the game 30-29 at half. Purdue had rallied to win after tailing Alabama by 16 points in the second half, but couldn't pull it off on the Badgers home court. Under Ryan, Wisconsin has won 130 of 140 home games.

UW is at Northwestern Wednesday.
