Latendresse scores winning goal for Wild vs. Penguins

- Guillaume Latendresse scored the winning goal midway through the third period to add to his career-high three assists as Minnesota defeated Pittsburgh 4-3.

ST. PAUL - Pittsburgh's star Evgeni Malkin again struggled as the Penguins lost 4-3 to the Minnesota Wild in St Paul.

Guillaume Latendresse scored the winning goal midway through the third period to add to his career-high three assists.

Sidney Crosby had scored early to give the Penguins the lead, his 28th of the season matching Marian Gaborik for second place in the NHL scoring charts.

Pascal Dupuis set up Crosby's opener and added a goal of his own for Pittsburgh, whose other score came from Mark Eaton.

Eric Belanger, Martin Havlat and Cal Clutterbuck also scored for the Wild as Niklas Backstrom stopped 35 shots.
