PORTLAND - The Milwaukee Bucks are now 0-and-3 on their six-game Western road trip, after falling at Portland last night 120-to-108. The Bucks took a lead in the first couple minutes, but the Trail Blazers pulled away after that.

They went up by 20 points at the break, and as many as 33 in the second half. Milwaukee made a run mid-way through the fourth quarter, but could get no closer than 11. Portland shot 60-percent for the game, and Bucks’ coach Scott Skiles said his team had a lot to do with that. He said the Blazers were quicker and more athletic, and they drove by the Bucks “pretty much at will.”

Brandon Roy led Portland with 22 points, despite missing much of the second half with a tight hamstring. Ersan Ilyasova had 24 points and rookie guard Jodie Meeks scored 21 for Milwaukee. S

kiles was hoping the Bucks would get off to a fast start, but they didn’t. He said they’re “searching for consistency,” and they’ll keep searching until they find it. In the meantime, Milwaukee is now six games below .500 at 15-and-21. They’ll play at Golden State tomorrow night.
