Rudy Gay connected for 21 points, and O.J. Mayo also had 20 with seven assists for the Grizzlies, who posted their fifth win in seven games.
Mike Conley scored 18 points with eight assists, and Sam Young tallied 17 points in a reserve role for Memphis, which posted a season-high in points.
Corey Brewer recorded a game-high 22 points, and Al Jefferson added 21 for the Timberwolves, losers in four straight and nine of 10. Wayne Ellington scored 17 in defeat.
Ahead by seven at the break, the Grizzlies coasted to a comfortable lead with a strong third quarter.
