The Red Wing Evening Star Quilt Guild will present a Quilt Show on Saturday, Feb. 6, and Sunday, Feb. 7, at Sargent’s Nursery in Red Wing from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Guild members will display over 200 items in the greenhouse. Featured items include: pieced and appliqué quilts, apparel and accessories.

Evening Star Quilters have participated in several group projects including a Crayon Color Challenge, Block of the Month, Nesting Robin and class projects with visiting instructors. The 60-plus members are from area communities, including Ellsworth and Bay City. They also make items for local charities such as lap quilts and wheelchair bags for nursing homes, and bed quilts and doll quilts for other organizations.

Three area quilt shops will have quilt-related items for sale. In addition, Certified Quilt Appraiser Bev Proulx from North Branch, Minn., will appraise quilts and demonstrate a Bed Turning.

Admission is $3. Drawings for door prizes will take place throughout the event.
