Bucks shut-out of All-Star game once again
Wisconsin Sports- For the sixth year, the Milwaukee Bucks have been shut out of the NBA All-Star Game. The reserves were announced last night, after the starters were unveiled a week ago.
MILWAUKEE - For the sixth year, the Milwaukee Bucks have been shut out of the NBA All-Star Game. The reserves were announced last night, after the starters were unveiled a week ago.
Milwaukee’s last All-Star was guard Michael Redd in 2004.
The reserves include Atlanta center Al Horford, son of former Buck Tito Horford. Derrick Rose of Chicago was named, and Boston’s Paul Pierce and Rajon Rondo were selected for the first time. The West reserves include Dirk Nowitzki of Dallas and Pau Gasol of the Lakers – who was chosen despite missing 17 games due to injury.
The All-Star Game will be played February 14th at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington Texas. Bucks’ guard Brandon Jennings will play in the Rookie-Sophomore game on the Friday night of All-Star Weekend.
