No. 2 rranked UW men's hockey plays first-place UMD this weekend
Wisconsin Sports- The Wisconsin men’s hockey team will play at Minnesota-Duluth tonight and tomorrow night. The Badgers are tied for fourth place in the WCHA at 10-5-3. But they’re ranked second in the nation with an overall mark of 14-5-4. The Bulldogs are in first in the WCAH standings.

Wisconsin moved up in the polls by taking three-of-four points from top-ranked Denver last weekend. Badgers’ senior forward Michael Davies has scored at least one point in his last seven games. Minnesota-Duluth starts the weekend at 12-5-1 in the conference, and 16-9-1 overall. The Bulldogs are ranked ninth – and they have the league’s top scorer in Justin Fontaine. He has 25 points, including 13 goals.
Meanwhile, the 10th-ranked Wisconsin women’s hockey team will host Ohio State tonight and tomorrow afternoon. The Badgers are tied for third in the WCHA at 11-8-and-1. And they’re 14-9-3 overall. Unranked Ohio State is going for its 10th conference win. The Buckeye and Badger women split a two-game set earlier in the season.
