The Panthers outscored Osceola 25-9 in the final quarter Thursday but that couldn't offset the big night by Chieftain center Paige Garriga. She had a game-high 29 points.
Taylor Murphy led the Panthers with 18 points while Shannon Campbell added 14.
Despite the loss EHS is still tied for second and is only one-game behind MBC leader Durand, who beat Prescott Thursday 47-32. Ellsworth and Prescott square off next Tuesday at Prescott.
