GREEN BAY - The first time the in-state rivals played the Panthers won by 20. Saturday night at Green Bay, the Phoenix beat UW-Milwaukee 61-54.
Wisconsin-Green Bay shot only 35 percent from the floor, but had a big advantage from the free throw line to improve its record to 16-9, including 8-5 in Horizon League competition. Wisconsin-Milwaukee is 13-11 overall, 5-7 in the Horizon League.
Rahmon Fletcher and Matt Smith scored 13 points apiece to lead the Phoenix. Anthony Hill and Ja'Rob McCallum led the Panthers with 13, also.
