MINNEAPOLIS (The Sports Network) The Minnesota Lynx announced Monday that forward Seimone Augustus will announce her return to the team in a press conference on Tuesday.
Augustus, the WNBA's all-time leader in points per game (21.2), tore her ACL last season after just six games.
According to a Minnesota newspaper, Augustus' new contract is a multi-year deal with an annual salary of $101,500, the veterans' maximum.
Augustus has played in 105 career games, all with the Lynx, who selected the LSU standout first overall in 2006.
