Three Wisconsinites in field for Daytona 500
Wisconsin Sports- Three drivers from Wisconsin will start closer to the rear than to the front in Sunday’s Daytona-500.
DAYTONA, Fla. - Three drivers from Wisconsin will start closer to the rear than to the front in Sunday’s Daytona-500.
Matt Kenseth of Cambridge – the defending champion of the “Great American Race” – will start 24th in the field of 43. That’s after he placed 11th yesterday in the second of two 150-mile Gatorade Duels.
Paul Menard of Eau Claire will start 32nd, after he took 15th in the second qualifying race. Travis Kvapil of Janesville will start in the 35th spot, after placing 19th in the first qualifier.
