MADISON - Senior Blake Geoffrion completed a big weekend with two goals and an assist in Wisconsin's 8-4 win over Minnesota State-Mankato.
Brendan Smith and Andy Bombach each had a goal and two assists as the high scoring men's hockey team rolled past the Mavericks. Wisconsin won the WCHA conference game easily despite being out-shot 35-31. Brett Bennett had 31 saves.
The eight goals match a season-high for Wisconsin which improved its record to 18-7-4 overall, 13-6-3 in WCHA competition.
