It was the third-largest crowd in Xcel Center history as Minnesota's Kyle Brodziak and Cal Clutterbuck combined for five points while Andrew Brunette and Marek Zidlicky each had a goal plus an assist.

Mikko Koivu added two assists for the Wild who skate into the break at 30 and 27, still well behind the Canucks in the NHL's Northwest Division. After the Vancouver games, the Wild return to practice February 24th.
